Mick Inkpen Class
Welcome to Mick Inkpen class. We are settling into life in Year 1 and looking forward to a fantastic year of learning. We have learnt about our class illustrator, Mick Inkpen and have based our work around his stories, such as Kipper and 'The Blue Balloon'. As part of our curriculum work, we have been learning about 'People who Help Us' and we are looking forward to a visit from the kent Fire Service.
Meet the Year 1 team!
Kipper the Dog is our class mascot. He will be coming home with children in our class to spend time with them and enjoy family fun!
We made puppets of people's jobs from the past.
We took part in role play scenarios to show what they had learnt about giving basic first aid.
