In Computing the children will be taught the skills necessary to use a computer. They will learn how to load the computer, how to retrieve, save and print their work. They will be given opportunities to use computers for data handling, for word processing, for artwork and for solving problems. They may use the computer to help them work from many curriculum areas: for instance to present a story in English or to produce a graph in Mathematics. They will also learn how to access and use safely the Internet. All computers have internet access in the school.
