Dynamic Dragons (RPH)

Teacher - Pennie Hills (EYFS Leader)

Associate Teachers - Gemma Fowler, Sharon Herridge (Fri)

Welcome to Dynamic Dragons!  We are enjoying our first weeks at school, especially the outdoor area.  We have been listening to favourite tales, including The Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs and the Billy Goat's Gruff.  We have been retelling these stories  and making masks to help us act these out.

We are learning to make cakes by ourselves using the balance and an egg!

We enjoy meeting Fred daily and he is helping us with our sound talk.  We are starting to hear the sounds at the beginning and the end of simple words.  We learn a new sound every day.

We wonder what we will learn this year!

Dynamic Dragons are looking forward to our visit to Godstone Farm on 28th April. Please ask if you have not received a letter.

We had a fantastic day at Godstone Farm.

Dynamic Dragons had a great day at the farm, learning about the different animals. A big thank you to the parents who came with us.

In class we are watching the caterpillars as they turn into butterflies. We have learnt lots of new words including chrysalis, pupae, symmetrical and metamorphosis. Ask us what they mean!

Our next visit will be on the 16th June to Horton Kirby Environment Centre. Letters to follow shortly.

We are continuing to work very hard and are making the most of our outdoor learning in the sunshine.

We are getting ready for year 1 by coming into school by ourselves. We have talked about year 1 in class and

are looking forward to finding out more as term 6 progresses.

Sports Day is on Friday 3rd July and we are practising our races - see you there!
