The girls football team travelled away to Knockhall primary school full of energy after last weeks cancelled match. In what was a very entertaining game, Knockhall took the lead early on after a bit of luck helped them to poke the ball into the back of the net. The lead didn't last long though as Temple Hill started to get a foothold on the game and deservedly scored an equaliser as Mia scored a great goal with ten minutes of the first half remaining. As the second half got under way Temple Hill dominated the game with the host barely having a shot on goal. Only an amazing save from the Knockhall keeper managed to keep Georgia's thunderbolt from finding the top corner. Temple Hill kept pushing but the luck was with Knockhall and they nearly snatched a victory if it wasn't for some heroic goalkeeping from Kaitlynne. The game ended 1-1 but the Temple Hill girls produced a wonderful team performance and were unlucky to come out of the game with just a draw.
Well done to: Mia M, Mija, Jennifer, Maisie, Georgia, Shelby, Lillie-May, Kaycee, Maia and Kaitlynne
