Cygnet course for parents
Ms Wiltshire, our Assistant Head of Inclusion, has organised for The Cygnet course run by Beams (previously Parents Consortium) to take place at here at Temple Hill. This is an opportunity for parents who have a child diagnosed with Autism to learn more about Autism. Topics include: Overview of Autism, sensory issues, communication and behaviour.
It is a 6 week course beginning on 2.11.17 from 9:30-12:30 in the Inclusion room. You will have to commit to every week to get a place. It is best if 2 of you can attend, e.g. partners, a friend, or a grandparent.
School have agreed to pay part of the cost for parents. This leaves the final price at £15 for both of you to attend. This rate is reduced for concessions or non-working families, please contact Ms Wiltshire for further information. Refreshments will be provided.
