Dear Parents and Carers,

 

Sorry for the delay in the update, despite numerous engineers, we continue to have problems with school heating and are unable to open tomorrow for normal classes. Earlier today two of the boilers were working, but these have since failed and we cannot restart them again.

 

As with today, staff will be working - pupils and families are welcome to come in and pick up PE kit, leave cards, clear trays etc between 8:30am and 1:00pm.

 

We will also be holding Christingle tomorrow in the infant hall between 10am and 11am (with all portable heaters!).

 

We cannot emphasise how much we are disappointed that we are finishing the year in this way, however we are not allowed to open without hot water or heating fully functioning.

 

We will be using a computer programme to randomly select the names of pupils/families to win two of our traditional Christmas hampers provided by the staff and these families will be contacted directly. One other will be given away via a free raffle ticket at the Christingle.
