Nursery - Robin/Owl

Staff in Nursery - Robin/Owl

Welcome to the Class Page of Nursery (Robin/Owl)

Welcome to the Temple Hill Nursery class of 2015-16.

Our children attend two sessions: Morning children are Robin class and afternoon children are Owl class. We are delighted to welcome our new children who join our existing classes.

The children are settling in beautifully and are beginning to access a range of exciting activities and learning opportunities.

We are pleased to welcome back our older children, who have grown up and developed over the summer, and are now ready to take on the challenges that this year will bring. We aim to prepare our children in all areas of development so that they are ready to move into Reception next year.

We have always enjoyed a positive relationship with our parents in Nursery and would be happy to help you in any way that we can. To continue a good link with home we would love to display any photographs or work that your child has completed at home. These will be displayed on our 'WOW' board in our Nursery entrance for all to enjoy.

To enable us to access the outdoor learning area please can you make sure your child has a named coat with a hood every day and their named wellington boots are left in school. It would also be very helpful if your child's shoes were named or marked.

A bag of named spare clothes should be left on your child's peg.

We look forward to the new year and working with your children.

Look at our fantastic Art gallery!

We worked together to build a cave for the scary bears!

We are learning to work together to complete a task.

We love to use the interlocking telephones to talk to each other.

We love learning in the outdoor area with our new friends.

We all take part in 'Write Dance', where we draw large circles to music in preparation for writing.

We have been enjoying our snack time in the garden.

Zoolab visited Nursery. We were able to look closely at and touch a giant cockroach, a corn snake and a bearded dragon called George.

We are enjoying making exciting models in our new 'Transient Art Area'. Kristel and Tegan worked together to make a 'fairy castle'.

We had fun when our mummies, daddies and sisters came to 'Stay and Play' at Nursery.

Father Christmas came to visit us at our Christmas Party. We had lots of lovely party food, played pass the parcel and danced with our friends.

We are beginning to make our Nursery Igloo. We have been collecting lots of milk cartons and we have now used hot glue to stick them together to make the walls of the Igloo.

Mrs Gill works with the children to make the walls of the igloo higher. They help her to place the milk cartons in the correct position and she glues them together using the glue gun. The children and their parents are very excited to see the igloo getting bigger!

We enjoyed making Easter crafts with our Mummies and Daddies at Nursery. They helped us to decorate butterflies and make patterns on eggs.

We made Easter Bonnets and had a parade in Nursery. Mr Dawson came to watch and judged the best bonnets.
