Rangers
Woodland Rangers
Our volunteer Woodland Rangers care for the wood on a daily basis, providing a stable presence in the area. Having built a team of volunteers we can ensure the viability of the woodland into the future.
Putting up the bat boxes the Rangers have made
As a Ranger you can get involved in plant surveys, bulb, shrub and tree planting, path clearance and maintenance and provide a supporting presence within the wood. You can also help organise events, activity days, walks and talks or help us with our social media – whatever you feel comfortable with. We will give you the support, training and the uniform – in exchange, we would like some of your time – be that just a few hours a week or more!

Making safe a fallen sycamore
Our friendly group meets every Wednesday between 11.00am and 3.00pm. There's lots of laughter and cups of tea - what a lovely way to get out of doors and give something to the community and the environment at the same time.
