School Games Mark Tournaments
The Schools Game Mark is a Government led award scheme that was launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.
Temple Hill were one of only four primary schools in Dartford to be recognised for their hard work by being awarded their Bronze award in July 2017.
So what is the School Games?
The School Games consists of four unique types of competition:
- Intra-School Competition (Level 1)
- Local Inter-School Competition (Level 2)
- County Final (Level 3)
- School Games National Finals
This year we will be working towards our Silver award. In order to achieve this we need to have completed a minimum of 7 Level 1 events and 5 Level 2 events.
We are looking forward to another great year of sport at Temple Hill!
