Term 4 Welcome to our class page!
This term our topic is ' People of the Past'. We shall be learning about scientists, musicians and composers, inventors and explorers who have made a difference to our lives. We are expecting a very special visitor on Friday 27th March who will tell us how Florence Nightingale lived and made a difference to how hospitals are run today.
We would love it if you could join us on a Friday morning to share a book or play Maths games with us.
This term we have spent a lot of time writing character descriptions of book characters. The class really enjoyed describing Miss Trunchbull. We are now reading the book by Roald Dahl...Matilda.
If you are able to volunteer to help in our class, maybe with reading, we should really appreciate it. Thank you for your continued support.
The children made badges at home, as part of our entry point, they chose a variety of significant people.
We have had great fun this term celebrating special events and dressing up.
For World Book Day we dressed up as book characters. Everyone was in character, it was a great day!
Michael Rosen visited the school and we thought he was fantastic. He took us on ' A Bear Hunt' and read our favourite poem; Chocolate Cake.
