Useful Information
Apps for Kids
You may have a tablet in your family already or maybe under the Christmas tree. Here is a (non-exhaustive) collection of apps that are used by the children in school. Beware that many “free” apps often require in-app purchases for use of the full product. Many apps have similar names, so the name of the company that makes the app is included in the list. Also be advised that some apps have social media uses that are blocked in school. If an app is available on iOS but not on Android, there is usually another app, similar if not better, on the Google Play Store. As always, parental discretion is advised. You should always make sure that your credit card number is not permanently stored on a child’s tablet or phone. If you wish to make purchases, then you should use gift card vouchers to store credit on the account instead.
