I have worked at Temple Hill School since January 2003. In 2009 I was promoted to Office Manager, following my colleague's retirement. I enjoy working at Temple Hill, as the staff here are very supportive and the work is varied and no two days are the same!
I have been working in educational IT for nearly two decades. In my role as Communications Manager, I am responsible for helping to inform parents, carers, the local community and the wider public about the Galaxy Trust, each academy within the Trust and, of course, to celebrate the work and achievements of the pupils. I produce the weekly newsletters for each school and keep the websites and our social media platforms up to date. I enjoy running a club that's lets children explore their creativity in Minecraft.
I attended Temple Hill school myself as a child as well as my children coming here . I was originally a parent volunteer before working in different roles within the school. I now work as an administration assistant and enjoy the variety of this position.
My time at Temple Hill has been a long and happy one. More years ago than I care to remember, I too was a pupil here. I started out as a parent volunteer and then went on to become part of the staff. After doing a variety of jobs across the school over the many years I have worked here, I am now the school Receptionist, a role I am really enjoying.
Executive Assistant to the Director of Business
I started working at The Galaxy Trust in 2014. I have had different job roles within the Trust, Extended Service Manager, Admin Assistant and my current role as Executive Assistant to the Director of Business. This is a busy and varied role providing support to the Director of Business, which is a challenge I am enjoying. Outside of work I like spending time with my husband and two daughters.
I joined Temple Hill as a Teaching Assistant in 2013 after working at Oakfield for 3 years. I have one son and enjoy reading, cross stitching, card making and watching my favourite TV shows.
I come from a family of teachers and my mother Wendy was previously a member of staff here in the nursery. I am really enjoying my time here working alongside Tony and hope to continue to help provide a safe and smooth running of the school.
